HEXVIEW is Shareware.
For those of you who are unclear on the concept of Shareware:
Shareware is software that is free to distribute to your friends (or
enemies, as the case may be). It is expected that you use the software
for a period of time on a trial basis and if you find the software useful
you send a registration fee to the author. This makes the author very
happy, and more likely to write more quality software. It also gives you
a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that you have bought a quality piece
of software. This arrangement works to the advantage of both parties:
you get to try the software out before buying it and the author gets to avoid
the hassle of finding a software vendor to distribute his software.
Special offer:
As a special offer, I will knock $5 off the price of HEXVIEW if you find
the hidden "worm" in the program, and tell me in your registration letter
how you found the "worm". (You'll know it when you see it!)
